PUBLIC HEARING ON THE GAD CODE OF POLANGUI 2023, E-BOSS, AND THE AMENDATORY ORDINANCE ON PCC CHARTER 

A Public Hearing was conducted to deliberate on three significant legislative measures:

1. GAD Code of Polangui 2023 – strengthening gender equality, women and child protection, and mainstreaming gender and development in all local governance aspects.
   
   

2. Establishment of the Electronic Business One-Stop Shop (E-BOSS) – streamlining business registration processes and improving efficiency and transparency in local transactions.
   
   

3. Amendatory Ordinance on the Polangui Community College (PCC) Charter – enhancing institutional mandates to improve the delivery of accessible and quality education for Polangueños.
   
   

The hearing was attended by representatives from various sectors, barangay officials, and concerned stakeholders, who were given the opportunity to raise concerns, present recommendations, and provide their insights on the proposed measures.

Councilors actively participated in the discussions. Hon. Edna R. Siguenza, as one of the key proponents, highlighted the importance of an inclusive GAD Code that addresses not only the rights and welfare of women and children but also strengthens family and community participation in governance.

Inputs and comments from stakeholders will be consolidated by the respective committees for final consideration and incorporation into the proposed ordinances.
