Present during the meeting were personnel from the Rural Health Unit (RHU), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM) Office, and other concerned offices.
The discussion centered on matters concerning the Labmate equipment, RHU YAKAP provider, and the Health Emergency Allowance.
Committee Hearing on Agriculture
The Committee on Agriculture, chaired by Councilor Bernie Broncano, conducted a hearing on October 7 at the SB Session Hall to discuss the Department of Agriculture’s Swine Project and its alleged unfinished infrastructure projects.
The discussion also shed light on the current status of the projects and the contractor’s commitment to their completion.

Committee Hearing with Barangay Gabon Officials Focuses on Road Safety and Infrastructure Improvements
On August 7, 2025, a Committee Hearing was conducted at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, bringing together municipal officials and the Barangay Officials of Gabon to discuss pressing infrastructure concerns.
Key topics included the construction of line canals and the proper scaling of concrete road projects within the barangay—initiatives aimed at minimizing the risk of accidents among residents and motorists passing through the area.
The discussion highlighted existing issues and the urgent need for strategic planning and monitoring to ensure the safety of the community. As a result, the Barangay Council pledged to actively support the implementation phase by closely monitoring the progress and quality of the construction projects in their area.
This collaboration is part of the local government’s broader commitment to sustainable and safe development across all barangays.
Committee Hearing with the officers of PNR Naga and the barangay officials of Apad and Agos to discuss matters concerning the improvement of the railroad in the mentioned areas.
The meeting served as a venue to address concerns of the affected communities, ensure safety protocols during and after the construction, and strengthen coordination between PNR and the local barangay leadership.
One of the suggestions raised during the discussion was to create a schedule for barangay tanod assignments to regularly monitor and ensure safety along the railroad. This collaborative effort aims to promote smoother transportation, enhance connectivity, and prioritize the welfare of residents of the barangays as the project moves forward.
