Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, John Joseph Villar balances academic excellence with active leadership in local governance. His journey in public service began as SK Chairman, where he worked closely with fellow youth to implement meaningful programs and projects in Barangay Matacon, Polangui, Albay.

Recognized for his youthful vigor and dedication to serving his community, JJ was elected as the SK Federation President of Polangui, giving him the opportunity to represent the voice of the youth across the municipality. Today, he proudly serves as an ex officio member of the Sangguniang Bayan, bringing the concerns, aspirations, and fresh ideas of the younger generation to the legislative table.

With a strong foundation in engineering and governance, Councilor JJ is driven by the goal of building not just better infrastructure, but a brighter, more inclusive future for the Municipality of Polangui.
