Councilor JOSE O. VILLAR - a seasoned public servant whose dedication to community service is rooted in years of hands-on experience in government.

Before stepping into elected office, Councilor Jun V.  built a strong foundation in public service as a government employee, having served under the offices Congressman/Governor Joey Sarte Salceda. These roles equipped him with firsthand knowledge of legislative processes and public administration.

In 2019, he took the leap into politics and was elected as a Municipal Councilor, where he continues to serve with integrity and excellence. Now on his second term as a member of the 10th and 11th Sangguniang Bayan, Councilor Jun V. currently leads the Committee on Appropriations, ensuring that the municipality’s budget and resources are aligned with the needs of the people.

Guided by experience, fueled by purpose, and committed to progress  Councilor Jun V. remains a strong voice in shaping effective, transparent, and inclusive governance of the Municipality of Polangui.
