The 16th Regular Session for CY 2025 of the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Polangui, Albay held at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall on October 13, 2025.
Joined by a CSO—senior citizens from Sta. Teresita—the body discussed the updating of the IRP; the Bagsakan schedule with the Punong Barangay of Basud; and the program involving POKAMPROFA and MASO in coordination with DA RFO5, to be entered into by the farmers’ association.
Coun. Niño Adonis B. Rebeta delivered a privilege speech emphasizing the importance of submitting all pertinent documents prior to any legislative action by the Sanggunian.
Coun. Atty. Kristel Louise S. Pasia expressed her delight over the results of the LLA Provincial Assessment, where the 11th Sangguniang Bayan secured 1st place in the 1st to 3rd Class Municipality Category of the Local Legislative Award.
In her privilege speech, she urged thorough scrutiny of the budget, with deliberations set to begin soon. She called for a careful review of the Municipality’s Annual Budget for 2026.
Coun. Bernie S. Broncano submitted his committee report on the meeting he convened last October 7, 2025, regarding infrastructure projects involving four farmers’ associations, the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 5, and the contractors. An ocular inspection with the involved parties, the Municipal Agriculture Office, and the august body is scheduled for October 21, 2025, with GALUDA as the first destination.
