Punong Barangay Elmer Monsalve of Barangay Ponso presented their Supplemental Budget for the body’s approval, amounting to P110, 583.28. He was congratulated for the anticipated start of the Ponso-Napo Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) project.
Punong Barangay John Casoco of Barangay Amoguis, presented the same amounting to P450,000.00. The budget initially intended for the purchase of a lot was re-aligned to other significant projects. He was advised to consider proposing a CCTV project, and invest in quality equipment for long-term use.

COMMITTEE REPORT
1. Coun. Broncano of the Committee on Infrastructure and Agriculture narrated the proceedings and results of the committee meeting conducted with NIA last July 22, 2025. NIA assured the prompt completion of the construction at Barangay Itaran which is at 85% already, and the promise to submit all future programs of work to the LGU for coordination.
2. Coun. Rebeta divulged the current structural and sanitary condition of the Municipal Slaughterhouse. He laid out the findings he gathered upon his inspection; he recommends several interventions including rehabilitation prior to the imposition of new rates. The body unanimously agreed given the dilapidated state of the facilities.
3. Coun. Recierdo disclosed the results of his inspection of TODA terminals in the Poblacion area. He found several violations as stipulated in the Traffic Code of 2017. He wished to pass an amended ordinance to strengthen and update its provisions. He looked forward to its implementation.
4. Coun. Arive reported on the meetings with relevant Officials with which he successfully acquired significant results:
a. The LGU can apply for AAA Slaughterhouse through LOI
b. Flood Control Project along Gabon (62meters, 5 meters height - 15 million); Centro Oriental (62meters, 5 meters - 15 million); and Alnay (218meters, 5meters height) is set to start this year.
The project has a total of 80 million budget allocation.
c. Road construction from Magpanambo to Sta. Teresita Road, expected to also cover Pintor to Sta. Cruz, has allocated budget. It shall include solar lights and roads and bridges.
OTHER MATTERS
Coun. Buendia acknowledged the efforts of Coun. Arive in securing the funding for relevant infrastructure projects in the municipality, most particularly the dike along Purok 5 of Barangay Gabon, a long-standing request now realized.
Due to the weather disturbance last week, all previously scheduled Committee Meetings on Irrigation canal matters along Barangay Itaran; LGSF (road concreting) and 20% EDF (drainage canal) projects of Barangay Gabon on July 24, 2025; PGCHS Canteen concern are rescheduled.
Polangui MPS COP PLTCOL Henry Red divulged the current peace and order situation: alleged robbery and theft cases; drug-monitoring; and existing manpower (PNP Personnel) and mobiles.
For the upcoming PCL Election, the body was enjoined to attend and support Coun. Pasia’s candidacy as Vice President.
