The 6th Regular Session for CY 2025 of the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Polangui, Albay held at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall on August 4, 2025.

Punong Barangay Aileen Sabater Arive of Barangay Lanigay presented the Barangay Supplemental Budget No. 1 amounting P450,000.00. She elucidated that this was reprogrammed, from road opening and concreting to other priority programs, since they could not get the right-of-way.

Ms. Sheryl Lofamia, Regional Program Coordinator of the Walang Gutom Program, to shed light on the delay on the redemption of the said program. She clarified the selection mechanism of beneficiaries (Listahanan/3 sectors), basis of termination from the program and the mandate of the program.

OTHER MATTERS

Coun. Buendia manifested the concern for the use of the parking space that could be utilized especially during the flag raising ceremony

Coun. Arive shared the good news about the flood control projects in Barangay Gabon and Centro Oriental. Bidding is set tomorrow and the projected start is on the first week of September 2025.

Barangay Agos and Apad residents and Barangay Officials raised the concern for the railroad crossings closed by PNR, the damaged waterpipe in Agos, and electricity-related matters with ALECO.

PCL Vice President (Albay Chapter) Hon. Atty. Kristel Louise Pasia thanked the body for the support.
